Competition Introduction
Wireless short-range communication technology refers to the wireless communication technology with a communication distance within tens of meters. After more than 20 years of development, the wireless short-range communication market is huge and has deeply penetrated into almost all the fields of networked electronic devices. Bluetooth as a new generation of short-range wireless communication technology, compared with the existing short-range communication technology has sub-millisecond low delay, microsecond precision synchronization, large bandwidth, high reliability, high security, low power consumption and other comprehensive advantages.

Background

In the first quarter of 2022, a total of 219,000 fires were reported nationwide, resulting in 625 deaths and direct property losses of 1.52 billion yuan. Among them, 83,000 residential fires, most of which were caused by sundries burning in public places that were not discovered in time. In order to protect people's lives and property more effectively, a fire detection and fire truck that can be remotely controlled is developed to achieve efficient fire detection and early fire extinguishing tasks. In the simulation of a large community, the property operates a remote unmanned fire truck to observe the surrounding environment according to 360-degree panoramic images. First, the fire extinguishing device is captured by the mechanical arm, and the fire investigation is carried out within the community to find the hidden points of the fire, and the preliminary fire extinguishing task is carried out to avoid the expansion of the fire.

Development task
Each team needs to complete the following development tasks and be able to remotely control the car into the fire extinguishing task in the competition venue:
1. Hardware construction and assembly of unmanned fire trucks, as well as hardware connection between various functional modules.
2. Establish a starlight communication link between the car end camera and the main control PC, which can realize real-time picture return, vehicle control and robot arm control.
3. Complete the picture splicing between multiple cameras on the main control PC, and complete the development of vehicle control and robot arm control.

Score setting
The total score is 100 points, divided into 3 items, objective score 2 items, subjective score 1 item.

Preliminary Awards
The challenge will collect 10 teams from each school, and the first team in the preliminary competition will advance to the final.
